Gana is a young physiotherapist. She lives in a poor city in Bulgaria, where she makes a living by assisting the elderly and trafficking their ID cards on the black market. In addition, she has a rather complex relationship with a boyfriend she is not in love with. His life seems to reflect the very existence of the city: a private life cycle of beauty and desire for post-communist survival. Like a ray of hope, Yoan, a new patient, comes to life. Desensitized and disconnected by their harsh environment, they slowly find comfort in each other, which awakens in Ghana an empathy that will lead to their escape physically and spiritually from the city.
